Never thought of it like that before! I think it's more likely, however,
that as Spike doesn't know Kenny and Lynda that well by this stage, he
probably thinks that Kenny is keen on Lynda, and also thinks he can use
this to do some subtle ragging of Kenny. It's entierly possible that he
sees Kenny as some kind of rival at this point.

There's always another layer to the onion...
