Press Gang

Acknowledgements

First of all, my thanks go out to these people:

Adrian Petford
... for creating the Complete Series Guide which forms the basis of the episode summaries.
Simon Thornton
... for digitising the pictures, for general motivation, and quite a few other favours along the way...
Farren Sullivan
... for innovative ideas and motivation.
David Waddell
... for information on the Programme Guide and the conventions.

Thanks to Easynet Group plc for bandwidth and other facilities, and Yoyo Internet Services for server space (that's enough of a self-plug I think).

Technical Stuff

This web site is best experienced with a frames-capable browser such as Netscape Navigator 3 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3. Here are their pretty logos if you're into that sort of thing:

Netscape Now! MS Internet Explorer

For the more technically minded, the storyline summaries are generated from a flat-file database using a CGI program written in C. The mailing list front-end is also a CGI program written in C. The rest of it is straight HTML. Graphics by Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop and Alien Skin. If you really want to see the C source code for the C programs, mail me. I make no claims about it's worthiness for this task or any other, so steal it at your peril.
