Dear Nat - sweetie,
I agree wholeheartedly.
One of the best ways to appreciate PG is to act it out.
It's not a ridiculous idea.
People said I was stupid when I wrote down the monologues
from Pride & Prejudice and acted them out, but through doing
this I was able to learn a halfway decent English accent and
as a result won the part of Elizabeth Bennet, in a play version P & P.
So I say, your idea was sensational!
It's definitely a great way to appreciate the finer points of PG.
Us drama people have to stick together.
And don't tell me that absolutely none of you have ever - to some degree -
acted them out, or used a few quick retorts in a conversation...
Or... maybe that's just me. OK, then...
So to your hurt and offended self who wrote:
> I'd say I was hurt and offended, but I only wrote that becuase I
> couldn't think of anything else to do but watch videos of PG
> episodes and I'm a Drama student - inspired partialy by the great
> Julia and Shakespeare. Unfortunatly I'm not very confident oh well.
I'd say that, I too are inspired by the Great Julia, the Georgous
Gabrielle and Shakespeare (or as he's otherwise known -
Willy (William) Wobble (Shake) Dagger (Speare).
And to all Melbourne-ians and the rest of Australia, "The Concierge"
is on TV this Friday night.
I still think your all fantastic,
Take Care,
Renee.
